Finally…

The time has come eventually. Had one long ride on saturday and that was it. Now just keeping my form, not pushing too hard. One and a half week left to go. Just bought my train tickets, room already booked. Maybe some extra battery for the gps, some extra energy bars and ready to go.

Saturday was a really nice day. My tanlines (like this) are in progress. Actually got some serious sunburns but it’s not too bad. I couldn’t take so many photos because tried out a new route been recommended by a friend and just enjoyed the ride. The new section was more or less flat, the road was running next to a river. Curvy road, lovely weather awesome. One huge reason to love this sport. I also find a new climb I will need to tackle because now I just descended on it.

Had kinda mixed feelings because I felt my legs wasn’t responding as I wished. They were too tired and I felt I had it worse on most of the climbs but afterwards as I checked the datas on strava I was actually better on some. So it seems the training worked.

150kms, many climbs, loads of foods later on and a loads of after sun cream. Rule #7: Keep your tanlines clean and razor sharp.

Vegre…

Vegre eljott az ido. Volt egy hosszu tekeres szombaton, es ennyi. Most mar csak fenn kell tartani a formam es nem hajtani tul kemenyen. Masfel het van vissza. Megvettem a vonatjegyem, a szoba mar reg lefoglalva. Talan egy extra aksi a gps-nek, es nehany extra energiaszelet.

Szombat igen jo volt. A napegette vonalak (most jottem ra, hogy a google translate bikinivonalnak forditja a tan line-t. hmmm (na mindegy. im)) folyamatban. Igazabol lett par igen sulyos napegesem, de nem olyan rossz. Nem tudtam annyi kepet csinalni, mert egy uj utvonalat probaltam ki amit javasolt egy baratom, es csak elveztem a tekerest. Az uj szakasz tobbe kevesbe lapos volt, ami egy folyo menten futott. Kanyargos ut, csodalatos ido. Egy oriasi ok, amiert imadhato ez a sport. Talaltam egy uj emelkedot is, amit le kell kuzdenem, mert most csak ereszkedtem rajta.

Igazabol vegyes erzelmeim voltak a tekeressel kapcsolatban, mert ugy ereztem, a labaim nem ugy reagalnak, ahogy szerettem volna. Tul faradtak voltak, es ugy ereztem, hogy a legtobb emelkedon rosszabbul teljesitettem mint elotte. De aztan megneztem az adatokat a stravan es nehanyon meg jobb is voltam. Ugy tunik az edzes mukodott.

150km, sok emelkedo, rengeteg kaja kesobb, es rengeteg napozas utani krem. 7es szabaly: Tartsd a bikinivonalad (am legyen) tisztan es pengeelesen.

Suffer but never surrender…

We had a bank holiday weekend and I thought I will have more time. Well I was wrong. Surprise, surprise. After Saturday’s torrential weather on Sunday I couldn’t be arsed to go out. And anyway I had a few things to do. But on Monday since I wasn’t working I decided to go for a recovery ride. I was expecting rain and this time I wasn’t wrong. It was raining almost all the way through. Oh and the fifth hailstorm in my face for the weekend. Except for the last 4-5 kms. Even though the weather wasn’t on my side still managed 75kms. I know I’m sick but I’m getting used to this shit weather. Just now when the summer finally started. And I had that stupid decision to go home by the canal so I ended up with a puncture again. I need to order a new set of inner tubes.

For the rest of the week I carried on with all three intervals but I wasn’t to happy with them. In the gym they don’t fucking turning on the air con and my form is a bit worse now. Could keep up the previous effort but was struggling really hard. On one of the days I even hit the wall. I’m glad the two weeks tapering down is on me because I really need some rest. Especially before the event.

Volt egy hosszu hetvegenk itt es azt hittem, hogy tobb idom lesz. Nos tevedtem. Meglepi. A szombati kegyetlen idojaras utan nem vitt ra a lelek, hogy vasarnap is kimenjek. Amugy is volt egy par elintezni valom. De hetfon, mivel nem dolgoztam, kimentem egy kis levezeto edzesre. Szamitottam esore, es most kivetelesen igazam volt. Majdnem egesz vegig szakadt az eso. Oh es az otodik jegeso az arcomba a hetvegere. Kiveve az utolso 4-5km. Bar az idojaras nem az en oldalamon volt, igy is osszehoztam 75km-t. Tudom, beteg vagyok, de kezdem megszokni ezt az idojarast.. Epp most amikor kitort a nyar. Es az a hulye otletem tamadt, hogy a csatorna menten megyek haza, igy lett megint egy defektem. Kell rendeljek egy uj szett belsogumit.

A het tobbi reszere folytattam mind a 3 intervalt, de nem voltam tul boldog veluk. A kondiban nem kapcsoljak be azt a kibaszott legkondit, es a formam is egy kicsit rosszabb lett. Fenn tudtam tartani az elozo kiserleteket, de eleg eroteljesen szenvedtem. Az egyik nap meg rosszul is lettem mert kifutottam energiabol. Orulok, hogy jon a ket het levezetes, mert tenyleg szuksegem van a pihenesre. Foleg az esemeny elott.

Hailstorm hurts…

Especially when you’re on bike. And the wind blows it in your face. And it hits you four times.

Had a pretty good week training wise. I’ve done all three of my intervals and still on with the form. Had a little struggle with one of them but I was also a bit tired and couldn’t eat as much as I wanted to. But still on and still alright.

The weather turned into ridiculous because on some of the days we had all four seasons. From hailstorm to heavy snowing to nice and warm and sunny.

Yesterday due to the weather decided to go for distance instead of elevation even though there were a few climbs in front of me. Chose┬áto complete the Ironman UK bike course. For some reason I was a bit tired so I wasn’t feeling so well but it seems that still in good condition because my pace is still on though I got really tired by the end. The route itself not easy but wouldn’t say it’s so difficult. Though I can’t imagine how can it be with after the swim and before the run. Respect to all. The climbs are not too bad. Nothing compared to a Winnats Pass. They have a few steep sections but those climbs are actually seemed short so won’t take so much out of you and also there are many downhill and flat section where you can recover and fuel yourself. With good pacing and having everything planned in advance shouldn’t be a problem. But I’m just a cyclist so can’t imagine how shit it can be combined with two other disciplines.

The weather fucked me up pretty much. It started to rain. So I stopped to put the waterproof on. It stopped raining. So I needed to stop for taking the waterproof off because started to sweat underneath. And repeat. And then the hailstorm. When it hit me for the fourth time I decided to put my mask on to protect my ugly face. Hailstorm never hit me again. Fuck yourself.

A jegeso faj…

Foleg ha biciklizel. Es a szel az arcodba fujja. Es negyszer kap el.

Eleg jo hetem volt edzes tekinteteben. Megvolt mind a harom interval a hetre, es meg mindig megvan a forma. Volt egy kis problema az egyikkel, de eleg faradt voltam es nem tudtam annyit enni mint szerettem volna. De meg mindig ott es meg mindig ok.

Az idojaras nevetseges lett mert nemelyik nap megvolt mind a negy evszak. Jegesobol, szakado ho, aztan szep, meleg, napos.

Tegnap az idojaras miatt ugy dontottem, hogy a tavolsagra megyek ra az emelkedes helyett, bar volt egy par emelkedo elottem. Az Ironman UK utvonalat valasztottam. Valami miatt eleg faradt voltam, es igy nem ereztem tul jol magam, de ugy nez ki meg mindig formaban vagyok mert a tempo meg mindig megvan bar a vegere rohadtul elfaradtam. Az utvonal nem konnyu bar nem is mondanam tul neheznek. Bar el sem tudom kepzelni, milyen lehet az uszas utan es a futas elott. Tisztelet mindnek. Az emelkedok nem rosszak. Nem hasonlithato egy Winnats Passhoz. Van egy par meredek szakasz, de nekem rovidebbnek tuntek igy nem vesz ki beloled annyit, es eleg sok lejtmenet meg lapos szakasz van, ahol lehet enni meg regeneralodni. Jo utemezessel es elore megtervezve az utvonalat nem kene, hogy gondot okozzon. De en csak bringazom, igy el nem tudom kepzelni milyen szar lehet a masik ket sporttal kombinalva.

Az idojaras jol elkapott. Elkezdett esni. Igy megaltam, hogy felvegyem a vizallot. Elallt az eso. Igy meg kellett allnom, hogy levegyem a vizallot, mert elkezdtem izzadni alatta. Es ismetel. Aztan jegeso. Amikor mar negyedszerre kapott el, felvettem az arcvedom, hogy megovjam a ronda kepem. Tobbet nem volt jeg. Bazdmeg.

Neverending cold/Veget nem ero hideg

Getting fed up with this cold…
Seriously. How the weather forecasters still have their jobs. For sunday I was about to have a recovery ride. I was expecting some rain but it meant to be more or less sunny, light clouds and light shower or no rain at all. Oh and around 10 degrees. And it was freezing cold with around 3-4 degrees, rain, strong wind and no sun. Still managed around 60k in slower pace so I would call it a recovery ride if I wasn’t fighting the elements. By the end I couldn’t change on the front because my fingers were literally frozen.
For the rest of the week I carry on with intervals.
I just realized that I cut back completely on junk food so barely eating any shit. Still having some but reached the point where mostly just good things. Gives more energy and better mood (mostly).
Haters gonna hate, potatos gonna potate. I don’t know where the jealous haters came from but hey. Fuck you. Don’t even talk to most of them. Fuckin miserable people.

Kezd elegem lenni a hidegbol…
Komolyan. Az idojarasjelentoknek, hogy van meg meg mindig a munkajuk. Vasarnap levezeto edzest kellett volna tartanom. Szamitottam esore de tobbe kevesbe naposnak kellett volna lennie, enyhe felhozet, helyenkent zapor de foleg szaraz ido. Ja es kb 10fok. Ezzel szemben volt 3-4 fok, eso, eros szel es semmi nap. Igy is oszzehoztam kb 60km-t igy hivhatnak levezeto edzesnek, ha nem az elemekkel kuzdottem volna. A vegere nem tudtam valtani az elso valton mert szo szerint elfagytak az ujjaim.

Most jottem ra, hogy szinte teljesen visszavettem a szar kajabol. Meg mindig neha eszem de tobbnyire csak jo cuccok. Tobb az energiam es a hangulatom is (tobbnyire).
Azt nem tudom, hogy ezek a feltekeny utalkozok honnan jottek de hey. Kapd be. Nem is beszelek a legtobb. Kibaszott szanalmasak.

So far…

First of all I’ve realized that whoever checking out the blog from mobile device can’t see the sidebar and by that the instagram widget. So check me out on instagram: @lsgblog

My legs started to feel tired. On Thursday I had the threshold session and it looks I got stronger. Did longer distance on higher wattage. Happy with that.

Yesterday was more fun. Peak District again. I skipped one climb because the Castleton area was bloody busy and one climb on the Mam Tor on the Winnats Pass (2 minutes better time than before) was enough. Then Long Hill and finally one climb of the Goyt’s Valley. It could be a bit longer but I was already knackered but nailed it. Good for making your technique better because one bit is about 700m long and constant gradient.

The weather was awesome even though a bit windy (but the advantage of the wind is that it combs my beard straight) but met many nice people. The season is on because bloody many cyclist was out. Ohh and I have my first tanlines on my legs.

Still recovering fast so I’m confident. Need to keep this form and hopefully won’t have any problems. But anything can go wrong.

And one person who has a triathlon today be awesome. I know you will beat many men as well not just the women.

A labaim kezdenek faradni. Csutortokon tureshatar trening volt es ugy nez ki erosodtem. Hosszabb tavot mentem nagyobb teljesitmennyel. Orulunk.

Tegnap jobb volt. Peak District ujra. Kihagytam egy emelkedot mert a Castleton es kornyeke rohadt forgalmas volt es egy a Mam Toron, egy a Winnats Passon (ket perccel jobb ido mint legutobb) eleg volt. Aztan Long Hill es vegre egy emelkedo a Goyt Volgyeben. Lehetne egy kicsit hosszabb is de mar amugy is faradt voltam, de megcsinaltam. Arra is jo, hogy finomitsd a technikad, mert van egy resze ami kb 700m egyenes es folyamatos meredekseg.

Az idojaras kiraly volt, bar egy kicsit szeles (ami elony, mert egyenesre fesuli a szakallam), de rengeteg jo fej emberrel talalkoztam. Az ideny elkezdodott, mert rengeteg a bringas. Es vegre megvannak az elso napegeses vonalak a labamon.

Es meg mindig gyorsan regeneralodom, igy bizakodom. Meg kell tartani ezt a format, es remelhetoleg nem lesz semmi problema. Bar akarmi elromolhat.

Es egy valaki, akinek ma triatlonja van, legyel ugyes. Tudom, hogy nagyon sok ferfit is le fogsz verni, nem csak a noket.

My legs just gave up complaining….
Went down on Hardcore Lane and so far it looks good but bloody tired.
Monday hit the gym again for the 40 min interval which went alright even though still felt the saturday night. Actually I was quite ok because was rested but the bike I’ve chosen drove me nuts and the resistance was all the time screwed so wouldn’t consider as a 100% training.
For tuesday I put the core training because I thought I will go out the next day. But because of the traffic I should go by train to Buxton ride and train back. Which I couldn’t do. I need that 30+ km to warm up and cool down. Call it an excuse but wouldn’t make any sense getting stuck in the traffic getting pissed up and die because some cunt couldn’t leave home 5 minute earlier and need to get to the job quickly that he anyway hates. Gosh I hate cars.
So yesterday 1hour interval with a pretty good effort. Actually it was one of my best and my legs were responding well. Recovering pretty quickly so getting there. Then made some food, energy bars and flapjack (which I fucked up this time), quick repair on the Harry Hall and out for a “recovery” ride.
I thought. Bloody traffic jam. For a while it was ok but had to push because the cars piled up behind me so it turned into a high intensity session. Unfortunately couldn’t go where I wanted to because the traffic was motionless…. fuckin football match as I get to know it later.

Igazabol egesz jo voltam mert pihent voltam de a bicikli amit valasztottam megorjitett mert az ellenallas folyamat baszakodott igy nem tekintenem 100%os edzesnek. Keddre a core treninget tettem mert azt hittem, megyek tekerni szerdan. De a forgalom miatt vonattal kellett volna Buxtonba mennem, tekerni, vissza vonat. Amire nem voltam kepes. Kell az a 30+ km bemelegitesnek es levezetesnek. Mondd h kifogasokat keresek de semmi ertelme beragadni a forgalomba, felbaszni az agyam es meghalni mert valami szerencsetlen nem volt kepes 5 perccel korabban elindulni es kibaszott fontos gyorsan beerni a munkahelyre amit amugy is utal. Hjaj utalom a kocsikat.
Igy tegnap egy oras interval egy eleg jo teljesitmennyel. Igazbol ez volt az egyik legjobb es a labaim jol reagaltak. Gyorsan regeneralok szoval jutunk valamire. Aztan foztem, csinaltam par energiaszeletet, flapjacket (amit ezuttal elbasztam), javitottam valamit a Harry Hallon aztanbki egy “levezeto” tekeresre. Gondoltam. Kibaszott dugo. Jo volt egy darabig de taposnom kellett mert a kocsik kezdtek feltorlodni mogottem igy lett belole egy magas intenzitasu edzes. Sajnos nem tudtam eljutni ahova terveztem mert a kocsisor mozdulatlan volt… kibaszott futball meccs ahogy kesobb megtudtam.
